Newly-promoted Serie A side Empoli are reportedly on the verge of signing Petar Stojanovic from Dinamo Zagreb.
The right-back is 25 years old and has 25 senior caps for Slovenia, having represented his country through all the various youth levels.
He has been in Zagreb since February 2016, making the €2m transfer from NK Maribor.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Stojanovic is now very close to completing a move to Empoli.
They won the Serie B title last season to gain promotion into the top flight.
