Chelsea manager Frank Lampard shrugged off reports that Emerson Palmieri’s agent is meeting with Inter directors today to discuss a €30m deal.
According to Sky Sport Italia and La Repubblica, the Nerazzurri have set their sights firmly on the Italo-Brazilian left-back for next season.
It’s even reported Emerson’s agent is already in Milan for negotiations today.
“I'm not aware of the talks,” said Lampard in a press conference. “What I am doing is focusing on the team and the squad day to day.

“I'm not aware of the talks,” said Lampard in a press conference. “What I am doing is focusing on the team and the squad day to day.
“I don't have any real conversations about the transfer window, whether it's who we might bring in or who might leave the club.
“Those are obviously questions we do have to answer come the end of the season when the window opens, but I certainly don't want to be swayed by rumours or gossip and I'm not involved in it, so we will keep working.”
Juventus have also shown interest in Emerson Palmieri, but were put off by the €30m asking price.
