Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis insists Elliott Management want the club back at the summit of Italian and European football now and not in 10 years.
Speaking after the release of Milan's financial results for 2018-19, which saw them record losses of €146m, Gazidis stated Elliott was looking long term.
"Elliot wants to take this club back to the top of Italian and world football, and we want to do it without waiting 10 or 15 years," affirmed the former Arsenal chief.

"Elliot wants to take this club back to the top of Italian and world football, and we want to do it without waiting 10 or 15 years," affirmed the former Arsenal chief.
However, the 55-year-old warned the Rossoneri had to change, adding: "We have to change our attitude, times are different. But we are all united, and the club has solid economic foundations."
Pressed on Milan's much-criticised transfer policy, Gazidis assured they would indeed buy experienced players under the right circumstances.
"We are focusing on young players who can make the most of Milan, but that does not mean we won't invest in experienced players like Higuain last year.
"However, we will not burn resources on football players in decline."
