Exor head John Elkann and some Juventus directors were recently in Saudi Arabia, where they enjoyed the Formula One whilst also looking for new shirt sponsors.

The Agnelli family head was spotted at the Saudi Arabian F1 GP with Ferrari on March 9, raising some hope amongst fans of il Cavallino, but he wasn’t only there for the racing and off-track politics, keeping an eye on his footballing interests too.

Juventus’ financials have suffered this season as a result of their European disqualification, but their return to the Champions League and Club World Cup next season will allow them to take a step forward in their post Andrea Agnelli era.

Corriere dello Sport details how Elkann travelled with some Juventus directors to Saudi Arabia recently, where they worked to strengthen commercial ties with companies in the Middle East, keen to find a new main shirt sponsor to replace Jeep.

The aim is to find a new sponsor worth at least €45m per year, the current amount paid by Jeep, whose deal will explore at the end of June.
