The Bianconeri gathered at Villar Perosa this afternoon for the traditional pre-season friendly between the senior squad and the youth team.

“It’s always lovely to be here, as so little changes and so much changes,” said the President of Agnelli holding company Exor on Sky Sport Italia.

“You really understand what Juve are about from here. It’s also good for Sarri to feel at home in this environment and see the Juventus of the future.”

It has been said that former Napoli and Chelsea boss Sarri was brought in to provide the Bianconeri with more entertainment, quality and ‘good’ football after the Max Allegri era.

“There was never an opposition between winning and playing good football,” insisted Elkann, one of the heirs to the Agnelli fortune.

“I am certain Sarri will be able to interpret it the best way, but the most important thing is that he feels at home. Sarri is happy with the environment, the transfer market and the signings.

“The primary objective, as always, is to win.”
