Eldor Shomurodov is expected to start in the Roma attack this evening in a Europa League game against IF Elfsborg.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET (19:00 GMT) at the Borås Arena.

The Giallorossi were held to a 1-1 draw by Athletic Club in their opening Europa League game last week.

They travelled to Sweden without Samuel Dahl and Nicola Zalewski, as well as the injured Enzo Le Fée and Alexis Saelemaekers.

Ivan Juric will rotate in Roma’s third game in a week, starting Shomurodov in attack and leaving Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk on the bench.

Mats Hummels is still not ready to start, so Mario Hermoso, Gianluca Mancini and Evan N’dicka are expected to begin in a three-man defence with Zeki Celik and Angelino on the flanks and Leandro Paredes and Niccolò Pisilli in central midfield.
