Stephan El Shaarawy insists he wants to do more for Roma and hopes to score his 100th goal against Ludogorets tomorrow.

The Italy international is expected to start in the final Europa League group stage game at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow, a must-win for the Giallorossi.

El Shaarawy should play as a left wing-back but hopes to score his 100th career goal on Thursday.

“These are targets that motivate me to do more, I want to improve day by day. I’ve scored 50 goals for Roma, but I want to do more,” he said at a press conference.

“I’ve never had problems adapting to the coach’s requests. I used to play more as a Trequartista at the beginning of the season, but now I am not worried about being far from the goal. The commitment is what matters, regardless of my role.”

How can he make the most of his playing time?

“I think it’s about concentration and being always focused on the game, also in the final minutes,” said the former Milan winger.

“I should never give up and never be happy with what I’ve done. It has to do with mentality.
