Gianluca Zambrotta would not be surprised if former club Milan sold Stephan El Shaarawy this summer.

The youngster’s future is in doubt after Diavolo Vice-President Adriano Galliani admitted the player was not untouchable on the transfer market.

“I think Galliani said something obvious,” the former Bari, Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus and Barcelona man told Il Mattino on Friday.

“No player can be considered as unavailable for transfer unless you are a club like Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain.

“We are talking about an important player, one which the club believed in a lot last season, but if the right offer was made…

“It seems to me that last summer neither Thiago Silva or Zlatan Ibrahimovic were on the transfer list, but when certain figures are offered then you have to sell.”

The 20-year-old striker, currently on Confederations Cup duty with Italy, scored 16 goals in 37 League games last season.

Manchester City and Napoli have been heavily linked with the former Genoa youngster.
