Napoli’s Omar El Kaddouri says Torino Coach Giampiero Ventura ‘taught me a lot’ and that Maurizio Sarri ‘sees me as a winger’.
The Moroccan spent the last two seasons on loan with the Granata, but returned to the San Paolo this summer.
Despite being sparingly used by Sarri, the25-year-old praised the Coach as well as his old mentor Ventura.
“In two years Ventura taught me a lot and I thank him very much for that, but Sarri is giving me a lot too, things that maybe I didn’t learn with Ventura,” he said to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“With them I played in Europe and learned to have awareness in myself.
“At Torino, I played in midfield and found it really good but since I was young I’ve always been a trequartista.
“Now the Coach sees me as a winger and I'm learning, but I'll have to work very hard to do well as my team-mates have for some time.”
