The 26-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions for the Partenopei last season, albeit most of them were from the bench.
It was speculated that the Moroccan would leave this summer, but he remained at San Paolo only to be excluded from the Champions League squad.
“The omission from the Champions League list was a surprise for us,” Mino Raiola said on Radio Crc.

“I must say I was disappointed in Sarri, because he did everything to keep him then he didn’t put him on the list. I can’t say what will happen with his renewal, we’ll see what happens.”
