Milan have reportedly rejected an €8m offer from Eintracht Frankfurt for Jens Petter Hauge, as it has not reached their valuation of the Norwegian.
The 21-year-old attacking winger was snapped up for €5m from Bodo/Glimt after he scored against them in the Europa League preliminary round last year.
He made 24 competitive appearances in the Rossoneri jersey, scoring five goals and providing one assist, but fell further and further down the pecking order in recent months.
Hauge was left on the bench for each of the last nine Serie A matches of the season, despite coming on as a substitute to score in his final game against Sampdoria on April 3.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Eintracht Frankfurt offered €7-8m to sign Hauge this summer, but Milan turned it down, as they want at least €12m.
It is believed the Bundesliga outfit will make another bid, as they are very interested in the Norway international, who has three senior caps to his name.
Eintracht Frankfurt are still interested in signing Jens-Petter Hauge. AC Milan have turned down the opening bid around €7/8m as they want €12m to sell the Norwegian talent. 🇳🇴 #ACMilan
