Luca Pellegrini joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan in the summer but could return to Juventus after just six months in January, reports suggest.

The 23-year-old Italian full back featured semi-consistently last season under Massimiliano Allegri, making 18 Serie A appearances for a total of 1113 minutes. In the summer, Juventus decided to send Pellegrini out to Eintracht on loan, keen for him to continue his development.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Pellegrini has struggled to make a strong impression with Eintracht and could be sent back to Juventus in the January transfer window, six months before his loan is set to expire.

The Italian full back has made 14 appearances across all competitions for the club, struggling to show his best due to some minor injuries and tactical issues.

The 23-year-old Pellegrini is contracted to Juventus to 2025 and could leave Turin again in the summer, with the club looking to pick up a new full back.
