The German club are interested in the Italian Under-21 international who is co-owned with Serie B side Cesena.

Caldirola is a defender who spent part of last season on loan in the Second Division with Lombard rivals Brescia.
The 21-year-old has already played abroad – during the 2010-11 campaign – on loan in Holland with Vitesse.
