Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco warns “it would be a huge mistake” to start thinking of the Juventus game already.

Radja Nainggolan is one booking away from suspension, so it has been suggested the Giallorossi could rest him for tomorrow’s Cagliari game, to ensure he’ll be available in Turin.

“It would be a huge mistake if I thought about Juventus,” Di Francesco told reporters in his pre-match Press conference.

“He could play from the start tomorrow night. I’ll look at the general condition of the players, because [Kevin] Strootman, for example, only trained with the rest of the group for the first time yesterday.

“We want to get to the end in every competition, always looking to win, and I want my team to approach every game in the same way.

“If we want to aim to become a bit bigger, we need to go forward in every competition.

“Cagliari have played well in the last few matches, including the last one against Sampdoria. That have [Leonardo] Pavoletti and Joao Pedro up-front, but also [Diego] Farias.

“They’re strong, but we have to play to win. I’d like to say that tomorrow we’ll be playing in a Telethon commemorative shirt.

“We’re proud to do that for the fifth year in a row, and after the match they’ll be auctioned for charity.”

Di Francesco was also asked about the transfer market, but wouldn’t be drawn on that.

“Ask [sporting director] Monchi, I need to think about other games.
