Cagliari coach Eusebio Di Francesco has claimed Bologna have ‘similar style to Atalanta’ and urges his men to ‘raise their attention’ on Saturday.

The Casteddu started the season with one point in three games, but have turned things around in recent weeks.

Di Francesco’s men come from three wins on the bounce, including the 1-0 triumph over Cremonese in the Coppa Italia this week.

“The match gave me many indications, I dared a little and we did well in the first half,” Di Francesco said at a press conference.

“The match gave me many indications, I dared a little and we did well in the first half,” Di Francesco said at a press conference.

“In view of tomorrow’s match against Bologna, we have worked on some aspects. We can and must improve.

“Sometimes we suffer too much when we are in our own half. We must all be defenders and avoid letting our opponents get shots on target.”

Di Francesco feels Mihajlovic’s team have ‘changed their attitude’ and compare them to Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta.

“They have changed their attitude a bit, they are very similar to Atalanta’s style of play, in terms of their willingness to go and catch their opponents.

“They are physically well and strong up front. We have to raise our attention to 200 per cent. We will go to Bologna to play the game.”
