Ederson thinks that Lazio will be able to pick up a positive result when Juventus come to town next week.

The Brazilian midfielder came back after a 10-month absence and scored four minutes into his return against Cagliari in Week 10.

Lazio then followed up that victory with a loss in Empoli, whilst their next opponents Juventus mauled Parma 7-0.

But Ederson thinks that all the elements are in place for the Biancocelesti to put in a good performance against the Bianconeri come Week 12.

“I think we can surprise Juventus and come out of the game with a positive result,” Ederson has told Lazio Style Radio today.

“We’ll have to do our best, although obviously it will be a difficult game, but we’ll have to raise our tempo. If we want to win, we’ll have to believe in it until the end.

“We try to play well for our fans. Their support is so important. Fans have become closer again, their enthusiasm is something positive and their presence at the Olimpico makes the difference.”

Despite his age, the 28-year-old sees the experience at Lazio very much as a learning curve.

“My natural position on the pitch is either as a second striker or a playmaker behind the strikers. But I want to learn how to play in every position.

“The dialogue with the Coach is essential. All the staff are giving us the opportunity to work well.”
