Sampdoria striker Eder says criticisms of the club have been ‘undeserved’ after their 2-1 win over Roma.
The Blucerchiati pulled off a shock win against the Giallorossi to take them into joint-fourth place, but were beaten by Torino on the weekend and suffered a humiliating 4-2 aggregate defeat to Vojvodina in the Europa League qualifiers.
"The truth is that football is made up of episodes – in the last round it didn’t go well and today it was better,” Eder said to VoceGiallorossa.it.

“We did well to come back strongly. These three points will give us a lot of confidence.
“In Turin we did everything badly in the first half, but we were up against a great team.
“It should be said that we are on 10 points, above teams that have spent a lot.
“I think that the criticisms towards us were undeserved.
“We did well today though and we have to continue like this and do well in the next few games.”
