Serie A players can be pretty cheap but absolutely reliable on EA Sports FC 24’s Ultimate Team and in this article, we reveal three affordable players who will surely make a difference in your squad. None of these players are available through SBC or objectives, so you’ll need to get some fc coins to buy them.
Florian Thauvin (FC Pro Live) – rated 89
The FC Pro Live card of the French striker currently under contract with Udinese is surely one of the most exciting in the game, especially if you use a 4-4-2 system. Thauvin can cover multiple roles: right midfielder, left midfielder, and right winger. His pace (92), shoot (89) ad pass (88) are absolutely stunning. His current price on PS4 and PS5 is around 61,500, which feels like an absolute steal, especially considering that Franck Ribery 92 Icon, currently available for nearly 3,000,000, has 92 for pace, 90 for shoot and 90 for pass. He is a better card, obviously, but the price difference is enormous, and Thauvin is more than a solid option on the wings and in attack if you are on a low budget.
Manuel Locatelli (FC Pro Live) – rated 89
The Italy international has to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the game. His FC Pro Live version has become increasingly expensive over the last few months but is currently available for a relatively low price at circa 107,000. This card has 81 for pace, but in-game, it feels much faster. Overall, Locatelli FC Pro Live is a complete card for a central midfielder. 86 pass and 88 defence make him an excellent playmaker as well as a very solid defensive midfielder. If deployed alongside an even more technical central midfielder in a 4-4-2 formation, you’ll have a versatile and complete midfield duo that will protect the defence and be ready to hurt in the final third with goals from distance and assists.
Domenico Berardi (Winter Wildcards) – Rated 89
This is the latest and best Berardi card released by EA Sports FC 24 so far and it only costs circa 38,000 on PS4 and PS5. Like Thauvin, his stats are impressive and he can play both as a right midfielder or right winger. As for stats: pace 88, shoot 89 and pass 88 make him a threat for any defence down the right wing and using a Catalyst Chemistry Style on this card, will boost pace to 96 and pass to 94, basically, one of the best wingers you can find in the game, especially for such a low price.
