Roma striker Edin Dzeko has hit out over Roma criticism, believing they are 'waiting for a chance to insult you'.
The Bosnian has plundered 14 goals in 19 Serie A starts this season, but has taken 107 shots to acheive this target.
"In England there was less pressure," Dzeko told Il Messaggero.
"If you do not play well it is normal that they criticise you. But criticism is part of the game, so you accept it.

"If you do not play well it is normal that they criticise you. But criticism is part of the game, so you accept it.
"At Roma it’s similar to with Bosnia, they do not criticise you, they insult you. So I'm used to it.
"At home, you will be OK three times, but if you miss a fourth time, the insults start again. It’s as if they are waiting for the right opportunity to hit you.
"I can just remember what I have seen and then I often think about how I do well throughout the match and then if I miss one chance, everyone talks about the miss. Only that."
Dzeko arrived in Rome in August 2015, so how does he find life there?
"Rome is a wonderful city, especially for those who have also lived in exceptional places like Manchester or Wolfsburg.
"Of course, travelling in the car is a problem: the streets are like those of Sarajevo after the bombing.
"You see that it is a city in distress, in crisis. They need to invest in the streets, you can not abandon them.
"Going out in Rome isn’t easy. If I happen to go downtown, I’m well covered so I’m not recognisable. With my hat and glasses.
"I remember when I came to Rome in the days when I was playing in Manchester.
"No-one stopped me, I walked around quietly. Today it is not so, I managed to take a walk in via Condotti with my partner only on the Monday after the goal against Juventus."
The striker made a horrendous miss in front of an open net against Palermo last season which went viral on the internet.
"I avoid dwelling on the mistakes in front of goal," Dzeko continued. "But the one against Palermo can't be explained.
"Then that evening I made two more assists, but no one has mentioned this. The error remains forever etched on the collective memory.
"My first goal against Juventus was unforgettable. It is always important to get off the mark quickly when it comes to a new team.
"I live for goals. Goals are my life, I hope to score many more and to raise the level of my performance."
