Roma forward Edin Dzeko seems set for a return to the squad against Juventus this weekend, but he will reportedly be stripped of the captaincy.

The Bosnian had not been training with the rest of the group, nor called up for games since the conflict with the Portuguese coach after the Coppa Italia exit.

But reports in Italy claims the two are ready to bury the hatchet and move on together, for the good of the Giallorossi and their fight for a place in the Champions League this term.

Roma sit third in Serie A and travel to Turin for a big game against Juventus on Saturday, with the 34-year-old back in training and available for the team.

As things are returning to normal for La Lupa, Calciomercato.it reports there will be some changes for the former Manchester City forward and claims Dzeko will not be wearing the captain’s armband going forward.

Lorenzo Pellegrini has been the captain in Dzeko’s absence, but the attacking midfielder is suspended for the match against the Bianconeri, leaving the role up for grabs.
