Edin Dzeko said Roma “need more consistency, starting from me,” after a 3-0 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow.

He bagged a brace and assisted Cengiz Under at the Stadio Olimpico, where they lost 2-0 to SPAL on Saturday.

“This is the best competition to score in. It’s difficult for us to say something after this game, because we should’ve done better three days ago,” the Bosnian told Sky Sport Italia.

Real Madrid squeezed a 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen, putting them joint top with Roma.

“The win doesn’t change anything in the group, because we always had to look to first place.

“Now we’ll try to win in Moscow, but we certainly can’t lose there.”
