Roma striker Edin Dzeko believes the club have "lost something" since Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi left over the summer.
Speaking to La Stampa ahead of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Euro 2020 qualifier against Italy on Friday night, Dzeko admitted Roma were worse off without the iconic duo.
"Something's been lost. They showed personality, on and off the pitch," explained the 33-year-old.

"Something's been lost. They showed personality, on and off the pitch," explained the 33-year-old.
"Now it's up to me, [Federico] Fazio, [Alexsandar] Kolarov, [Alessandro] Florenzi and [Antonio] Mirante to guide the younger players."
The hitman has been captaining the Giallorossi since Florenzi's demotion to the bench under new coach Paulo Fonseca, so how does he feel about it?
"It's a armband that weighs on you. Players like Totti and De Rossi wore it in the past. But I'm ready."
Dzeko was heavily linked with a move to Inter over the summer, but he revealed that he stayed after talking to Fonseca.
"The transfer market is long, but on the first day of preseason I spoke to the new coach and he said he needed me to stay at Roma."
The veteran joined Roma from Manchester City in 2015 and has gone on to score 93 goals in 194 games at the Olimpico.
