Edin Dzeko hinted he might not be go back to training with Roma tomorrow ahead of a transfer to Inter. ‘We’ll see…’
The Bosnia international was interviewed at the airport after returning from the pre-season training camp in Portugal and then a couple of days in Croatia.
There are multiple reports that a deal has been done for his move to Inter, at a cost of circa €1.8m, cheaper than expected in order to remove the €7.5m per season salary from Roma’s books.
Tuttomercatoweb asked Dzeko if he will be at Roma’s Trigoria training ground tomorrow.
“I’m going to see my children now, as I haven’t seen them in two weeks. Trigoria tomorrow? We’ll see… Step by step, as they say.”
Dzeko is one of two forwards expected to replace Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku at Inter.
The other should be Duvan Zapata of Atalanta, although Lazio’s Joaquin Correa is another alternative.
