Reports from Turkey suggest that the final details of Edin Dzeko’s move to Fenerbahce have been resolved, allowing the Bosnian to put pen to paper.

The 37-year-old striker’s contract with Inter will expire next week and a new deal won’t be signed. He joined the club in 2021 for €2.8m from Roma and played an important role in Simone Inzaghi’s squad, scoring 31 goals across 101 appearances for the club.

In recent days, reports began to emerge that Dzeko was looking to switch Italy for Turkey, interested in joining Fenerbahce on a two-year deal following talks with his agent Alessandro Lucci.

Turkish outlet Hurriyet via FcInterNews claims that all the final details have now been resolved, allowing Dzeko to sign a two-year contract with Fenerbahce.

He is currently on holiday with his family in Marmaris, a resort on the Turkish coast, and once he’s given the green light he’ll head to Istanbul to finalise his move.
