Edin Dzeko has reignited rumours of a move to Juventus after admitting that he'd like to play in Italy.

The Wolfsburg ace was targeted by the Old Lady last summer, but his club refused to sell and the Italian giants signed Milos Krasic instead.

Juve are still very keen on the striker, but it was thought that clubs with more financial power – such as Real Madrid, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich – were ahead of the Bianconeri in the queue.

Juve are still very keen on the striker, but it was thought that clubs with more financial power – such as Real Madrid, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich – were ahead of the Bianconeri in the queue.

However, Dzeko is quoted in today's Corriere dello Sport as having a desire to test himself in Serie A.

"I will stay at Wolfsburg until June, but I will leave at the end of the season," he stated. "I'd like to play in the championship in which Andriy Shevchenko and Ronaldo appeared."

Shevchenko played for Milan during his career, while the Brazilian phenomenon had spells with both Milanese clubs.

It remains to be seen however whether Juve could actually afford to spend the kind of cash needed to acquire the international.

Dzeko is understood to be valued at around €25m-€30m.
