"We played a great game, especially in the first half. Playing here against Bologna is always difficult," Dzeko told Sky Sport.

“I always tell Pellegrini to pass me the ball. Sometimes I’m a bit 'heavy’ but it can be useful, no? We understand each other very well, not only with Pellegrini but also with other players. We made great, unbelievable actions today.”

The former Manchester City striker has scored his 111th goal with the Giallorossi

“I could have made 113, I am happy for our performance, I feel better after COVID, I could have scored more goals, I hope I kept some of them for Thursday.

“We hope to arrive among the top four, we didn’t do it in the last seasons and that’s a pity for the team and for the fans. Now we need to focus on Torino.”
