Roma striker Eden Dzeko said he’s ‘tired’ of all the transfer market rumours and stressed he’s focused on the Giallorossi. ‘I only think about Roma and nothing else’.

The Bosnia international scored two goals in the 5-2 friendly win over Debrecen and the former captain seems central in the project ahead of 2021-22.

Dzeko also quashed the rumours of a possible move away from the Olimpico this summer.

“I’m tired of talking about Dzeko,” the striker told Sky Sport Italia. “I only think about Roma and nothing else.”

The fans were back in the stadium, as 25 per cent of the capacity at Benito Stirpe Stadium was open against Debrecen.

“These are emotions we haven’t felt for a while, it really gives us a good effect and we hope to experience a positive season, also with the fans at the stadium,” Dzeko continued.

Roma will continue their pre-season training in Portugal and Dzeko said life under Mourinho ‘is going well’.

“We are just at the beginning, for now everything is going well,” he continued. “We are preparing. The legs are still a bit heavy, but everyone is happy, and the coach tells us to give 100 per cent.

“Then, after the games and training, you can joke too.”
