Roma’s Edin Dzeko insists he is happy at the club in spite of criticism following a sub-par first season in Serie A.

The 30-year-old joined the Giallorossi from Manchester City last summer, with hopes high following a successful Premier League stint.

However, he scored just 10 goals in 39 appearances last term, prompting speculation his future could lie elsewhere.

“Yes, I am still here and obviously I am happy to stay,” Bosnia international Dzeko told reporters after scoring in the friendly win over Montreal Impact.
