Edin Dzeko is not in negotiations with Fenerbahce, but could terminate his Roma contract, making him a free agent for Milan or Juventus.

Despite the Turkish reports, Italian sources all insist there is nothing between the Bosnian striker and Fenerbahce.

On the other hand, his future at the Stadio Olimpico is by no means secure either.

There are suggestions from the Gazzetta dello Sport that Dzeko is in talks to possibly terminate his contract by mutual consent a year early.

This would take his €7.5m wages off the club’s bill and he could remain in Serie A, with Juventus and Milan interested in him as a free agent.

The Rossoneri would turn to Dzeko if Chelsea refuse to let Olivier Giroud leave for free after extending his contract to June 2022.
