Roma have given Edin Dzeko the go ahead to complete his move to Inter and the Bosnian will travel to Milan in the next few hours to carry out his medical and sign the contract.

Sky Sport Italian reports the Bosnia-Herzegovina international is set to leave from Ciampino with a flight to Milan.

He will then carry out the required medical examinations before he signs a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri.

Dzeko’s contract should be worth around €5m a season and it reportedly won’t exclude a possible move for Atalanta forward Duvan Zapata too.

Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move away from San Siro, due to his high salary, whilst Lazio winger Joaquin Correa is another target for Inter.

Sky reports the Biancocelesti are asking for €37m plus bonuses for the Argentine, who could follow Simone Inzaghi out the door at Lazio this summer.

Dzeko, however, is the first incoming attacker since Inter accepted to let Romelu Lukaku leave the club for a return to Chelsea.
