Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku gave Inter victory in a friendly test against Pippo Inzaghi’s Reggina, with the Belgium international playing almost 90 minutes.

This was a battle of the Inzaghi brothers at the Stadio Granillo, as Simone faced off against his elder sibling Pippo, who has Reggina currently second in the Serie B table.

Andre Onana made a tough early save on Riccardo Gagliolo, while a desperate goal-line clearance denied Lukaku on Federico Dimarco’s cross.

Lukaku was also kept out by the woodwork with his header on a Henrikh Mkhitaryan cross.

Dzeko had numerous scoring opportunities, while Francesco Acerbi and Raoul Bellanova failed to get the finish from close range.

The deadlock was eventually broken by Dzeko with a towering header on Hakan Calhanoglu’s corner kick.

Lukaku played almost the full 90 minutes and even found the back of the net by turning in Dimarco’s cross.

Robin Gosens was unlucky not to get a goal himself, his back-heel flick kept out by the upright.
