The Bosnian is valued at around €13m, while the veteran Serbian left-back would only be considered as part of a package deal, or if he managed to secure a release from Roma for a nominal fee.

The Corriere dello Sport claims that the two clubs could reach an agreement for €10m cash plus 19-year-old youth team striker Merola in exchange for Dzeko and Kolarov.

Inter are still smarting after including Nicolò Zaniolo in the Radja Nainggolan deal, seeing the teenager flourish in just one season at the Olimpico.

Roma had asked for goalkeeper Ionut Radu, currently on loan at Genoa, or Italy Under-20 forward Sebastiano Esposito, but Inter refused to budge.
