Multiple sources suggest Edin Dzeko will have his Inter medical on Wednesday, completing the transfer from Roma for a minimal fee, while Jose Mourinho tries to convince Tammy Abraham to leave Chelsea.

The domino effect is already in motion after Romelu Lukaku had his medical with Chelsea ahead of the €115m transfer, which should also be announced tomorrow.

The Belgium international is currently in Monaco with his agent before flying to London for the signature.

Inter want to bring in two forwards to replace Lukaku, one of them being Dzeko, as Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more all report this evening that Roma have given the all-clear.

Dzeko was in training at Trigoria today, but he is expected to have his medical tomorrow before signing the contract.

As he is in the final term of his Stadio Olimpico deal, it’s believed he will be allowed to leave for just under €2m.

Meanwhile, Roma want Abraham as his replacement and are close to agreeing a fee with Chelsea, rumoured to be a loan with option to buy for €40m.

The problem is that Abraham doesn’t feel ready to leave London and would prefer to join Arsenal instead.

Sky Sport Italia report this evening that Mourinho is personally calling Abraham in a bid to convince him of the Giallorossi option.

The forward is taking a few days to think about it, giving an answer after Chelsea play the European Super Cup against Villarreal on Wednesday night.
