Paulo Dybala’s girlfriend Oriana Sabatini further fuelled reports of an imminent Juventus exit. ‘Turin is boring, there’s not much to do here.’

The Argentine singer is also the niece of 1980s tennis star Gabriela Sabatini, and has been with Dybala since 2018.

With reports Dybala is set to leave Juve and the club even withdrew its contract extension offer, along with the player’s punishment for breaking lockdown rules to attend a party at teammate Weston McKennie’s home, Oriana’s comments will only further confirm an exit is close.

“The problem is that there isn’t much to do in Turin, and it’s quite boring,” she told Gente magazine.

“As soon as Paulo has a day off, we go somewhere else, because he too wants to do things. I try to fill the time by taking boxing lessons, cooking, reading and writing songs at the piano.”

Oriana also spoke to the media in Argentina, television programme LAM, about the lockdown breach at McKennie’s house.

“It was not an illicit party. My boyfriend got together with his teammates for a dinner, which happens every Wednesday. It’s always the usual people, barely even 10 of us. It’s not true that there were 20.

“I think people just want to stir up controversy over everything that happens around football. The truth is, I don’t even know how they discovered we got together to eat.”

The answer was that a neighbour called police after he saw ‘taxis full of girls’ arriving at the house.

Turin is currently under lockdown due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
