Paulo Dybala will train at Continassa for the first time today since Juventus informed him that they would not renew his contract.

The Argentinean is looking for a new club as the Bianconeri are unwilling to offer him a new deal. CEO Maurizio Arrivabene clarified on Monday that the Argentinean is no longer the core of their project, so the contract offer they had made at the end of 2021 is no longer valid and there won’t be a new one.

Dybala was surprised that Juventus had changed their stance and left Turin for a few days after the club’s announcement. Massimiliano Allegri had given his players a few days off, but training sessions at Continassa for players who have not received call-ups to their national teams will resume today.

Dybala didn’t join Argentina to recover his best fitness ahead of the final part of the campaign. Juventus will host Simone Inzaghi’s Inter after the break and ironically, the Nerazzurri are one of the clubs in pole position to secure Dybala’s services at the end of the season. The Argentinean striker has nine games left to be played with the Bianconeri. Ten, if they qualify for the Coppa Italia Final. He has a chance to lift one last piece of silverware before leaving the Allianz Stadium after seven years.

  1. Still annoyed by how it was all handled. I have never seen Dybala as an out and out striker, but more of a secondary striker. When we signed Vlahovic I was dreaming of a pairing where Dybala scores a bit more, but also sets up Dusan a LOT. Christ I would have let go of Kean & Moratta & kept La Joya. Before CR7 came he & Pjanic were the ones who took and scored off set pieces. No NO ONEon Juve scores off set pieces. I think Juve made the wrong choice in who to let go& that the will regret this.
