Free agent Paulo Dybala would already be an Inter player had it not been for his agent’s demands, reports in Italy claim.

The Argentina forward has been a free agent since the end of June once his Juventus contract expired but his availability has been well known since before then.

Inter appeared frontrunners for his signature and director Beppe Marotta said a while back they were hopeful a deal would happen – but more recently suggested they were content with their attacking options.

Il Corriere della Sera report the only reason a deal for Dybala to join Inter has not already been wrapped up is due to the commission his agent Jorge Antun has been demanding.

It remains to be seen where Dybala ends up but Inter’s position has the likeliest destination is no longer so secure, recent reports have claimed.

Inter recent re-signed Romelu Lukaku, which has left fans dreaming of an attacking trident, which would see the Belgium forward line up alongside Lautaro Martinez and Dybala.

  1. Its crazy to think that the greed of an agent could scubber a move of one of the agents clients. Aren’t they paid to take care of the interests of their clients and the rest is bonus? I know it doesn’t work this way in modern football transfer business – but it should.

  2. It all depends on what the contract between Dybala and his agent contains. Perhaps he needs to pay him if he wants to fire him

  3. And thats why Skriniar fired his Agent to renew with us… Sadly he will be sold nevertheless!

  4. Headline should be renamed ‘Dybala would still be a Juventus player if not for his agent’. I honestly think he would have signed for us at 7-8 million including bonuses. His agent messed it all up and is also ruining his chances of a lot more potential moves. Shame on him

  5. ha ha but this is exactly the reason Juve let him go, we all love him but Juve did the right decision in this case, Inter flirted hoping they would lower their demands and eventually probably they will but then you have a player who joined only as a last option def not for love…

  6. @JUVEFAN1987: could you please stop lying to yourself and everyone else here?

Juventus have made a promise / verbal / gentlemen`s agreement to Dybala and his agent. Then signed Vlahovic and refused to offer Dybala a contract extension. So how could have Dybala signed anything?!

Delusional / manipulative Juventus fans are sickening me.

  7. @Paratici, r u kidding? His last three seasons’ performance + injury is not worthy of 10m, not even 7m. If he demanded 8m, Juventus would already renew his contract. He’s greedy and played the game, trying to force Juventus to accept his demand when he is eligible to talk to the other clubs.
The market is always right, no club is willing to pay 5m even he is a free agent.
    U r sick, very sick. U need a shrink.

  8. @Paratici Dybala had the contract months before Juve signed Vlahovic. He could’ve signed that contract anytime within the 2-3 months window before January and he didn’t

  9. Paratici, you are the delusional one, dybala was offered a contract in November. He insisted on using his current agent who was not even fifa licenced at that time. Things changed in January, that was his choice to wait. Now it is his problem, I do not see many clubs flocking for Dybala under these demands

  10. CALMAAA!!!

Maybe this is the genius mastermind plan of the Laramie F1 sales girl. Let Dybala leave, then at the 11th hour make a move and get him back for less money. After all Frittata might be coming back for a shot at 3rd time PhD roll over lucky dip slow ball.

  11. 3rd party ownership does not work! Dybala stuck in the middle. Shame his agents are ruining his career.

  12. Interesting points to note… But no one mentioned Marota’s role… He is a charmer, analyst, opportunist, marketer, economist, politician… He is more than a manager… Maybe he would become the president or the prime minister of a country…

  13. I remember all this fuss started once he hired that “super agent” instead of his brother. All was fine. He could have signed a 8+2M deal 2 years ago. But no, he decided to hire Jorge Antum, and there you go! Now nobody wants to offer him 6M. He’s an incredible player with a great goal sense. But once he decided to take that path, everything started going wrong. Do I feel sorry for PD10? Somewhat. Dose he deserve to be where he is today? Probably more yes than no.
But the reality is that neither him or Juve are winners

  14. Dybala’s agent thought that his client is some Messi and expected 10+ million deal for Paulo and big money for him. However, the reality is different. Juve said goodbye to this little mercenary, Marrota is super intelligent. he will wait and will get him for 5+1 millions and Antun will get nothing at the end of the summer.
