According to multiple reports in Italy, Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus at the end of the season as his contract at the Allianz Stadium won’t be renewed.

Sky Sport Italia and Romeo Agresti report that the Argentinean will end his spell in Turin at the end of the season when his contract with the Bianconeri expires. His agent Jorge Antun met Juventus directors this morning but failed to reach an agreement during their two-hour meeting at Continassa.

Juventus and Dybala had shaken hands over an €11m-a-year deal at the end of 2021, but the Bianconeri withdrew their offer. They made a new proposal in the region of €6-7m per season plus add-ons, which was not enough for the Argentinean.

The details of Juventus’ new offer for Dybala

La Joya is, therefore, free to find a new club for 2022-23 given that his time in Turin will end in the summer. Dybala has been struggling with injuries over the last few seasons, which is one of the reasons why Juventus changed their stance regarding the offer they made at the end of 2021.

The signing of Dusan Vlahovic also had an impact on the club’s choice and finances, leading to a lower offer for La Joya. Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, Inter, Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with signing the striker who, according to reports in Italy, hasn’t yet received concrete offers from other clubs.

  1. Sad to see this actually happen, even if it likely the best one for the club. He’s played something like 100-ish minutes of 600+ available minutes in the Champions League knockout games the last 3 years. He’s just not durable or delivering consistently to command the money he was looking for. If he was healthy and delivering, it would be worth it.

It’s emotional because of what he has meant to the badge and shirt over the years. But we have to look out for the best of the club.

Team needs to be rebuild around the spine of De Ligt, Loca, Chiesa, and Vlahovic.

  2. Disaster. Players like him and Chiesa are crucial in negative Allegri style teams that struggle to create. They will regret this.

  3. He can be replaced, his inconsistency doesn’t move Juve forward in the Champions League. I love him, but good luck Paulo.

  4. Great news for Juventus! Now let’s go for payers like Zaniolo, Luis Alberto, Cherky, Wirtz, Joa Felix, Correa.

  5. Mostly injured than not. He should be handed a low base salary and performance related contract, since he is clearly not working full time.

  6. He is an awesome player, he is my fave, I’m glad Ronaldo is gone so we get to see Dybala shine. I understand the drop in the offer because he does seem to have injuries often, however maybe finding better medical and training staff would be the way to go as there are always quite a few injuries happening on Juventus at any given time. But I think cutting the offer in half was an insult. Oh well, many teams would love to have him. Maybe the change of team and therefore training styles and staff will serve him well and he won’t have as many injuries. I just hope he goes to a team that is regularly played on cable. Dybala, I will follow you wherever you go!

  7. Only Berardi has a higher score on the whoscored app, then Dybala in Serie A this year. Notice he scores almost everytime he is on the field?

  8. Offered him 11m a year in time of covid and routinely injured? Who is running Juve? Daffy Duck? He is talented but Juve management like usual just threw to much money around too early.

  9. @Kuy: Firstly, he’s not leaving because of Allegri. Secondly, we don’t need a striker that scores only against Salernitana – we need a striker that is available and Paolo is always injured. Vlahovic is the man now – nobody should be getting more than DV7

  10. This sad but right decision. Too injury prone to pay 11 million a year. He is not consistent. Should give more opportunity to youth players. But don’t have much hope with Allegri in charge.

  11. Welcome to Inter home of the Argentines. Playing with Lautaro, the possible return of the big donkey (Lukaku) and having Marotta could reinvigorate him. The worry for Juve is who will they go for. I bet Dembele will be of interest and he has an injury record worse given his age. After seeing him mess up again last night Agnelli will be relishing the thought of bringing more trash to the recycling plant for freebies.

  12. Stefanie you never look at whoscored, there ratings are totaly fakes, if you look there you can think that messis dribbling is making him best player, and everybody knows how shiit this dwarf worthless shiit actualy is… Never look at whoscored my sweetheart!

  13. As a true Juve fan
    I have to say it’s a shame 🥺

Dybala has been Juve’s absolutely most succesful offensive player in the 9 year in a row streak 👍

We have to look at the offensive tridents Del Piero, Vialli & Ravanelli and Platini, Rossi & Boniek to find more succesful offensive players.
    Winning the UCL

Otherwise we have to look at legends like Ferrai, who also won 5 Scudetti in a row -it’s been huge

    5 Scudetti in a row
4 Coppa Italia in a row
    3 doubles in a row
    1 UCL final

    Grazie mille 👏👏👏
    La Joya 🙌

  14. @FORZA Juve

At least Messi is way better than Mr. Bottle (CR7) or Penaldo as he’s also called.

The biggest mistake signing in Juve’s recent history

  15. @juvefella

You are idt if you think dwarf is better than cr7, cr7 came to juve and scored 100 goals in 3 seasons and became best juve player of all time in just 3 seasons. And we would been signed dwarf shiet he would been scored 1 goal in season, destroyed all team in first season and ask for coming back to barsa in tears like little child. Never compare world ever best player cristiano ronaldo with that shiit pupet not worth nothing at all in football

  16. For sure if there would be mine decision I would cut that dwarf head of and let him walk around the field just not touch ball anymore and let the men play, here is not little childs place in real world football and we not need such shiits in this game

  17. Juve been trying to offload him for years, they tried to get EPL clubs to over pay for his services, he was never a 10million a season player, Paulo come to Napoli for 3 milli??

  18. Total incompetence if the club lets him walk to Inter and for nothing. At least the Nerazzurri put road blocks in place for former players not to be able to cross over so easily. It will be so funny if Juve push to get Icardi who is no spring chicken and hardly kicks a ball these days. I also have a feeling that they will renew for a lower fee in regards to Morata, extend with Kean and still have a gaping hole in the middle. I just don’t know why it took Dybala so long. Not being renewed is a blessing in disguise and Inter can still get him at his peak barring those injuries.

  19. Dybala took away about 70 millions from juventus pocket when refused to move to tottenham, and now he still wanted to take 10 millions from club which he loves? Its enough of these lies

  20. he had a good run and blessed career and still young. i like to see him regain his best form and stay in Italy and play for Inter – team up with Lautaro, otherwise Tottenham or Barca/Real Madrid would be great for him unless he just rides the bench.
