Paulo Dybala has been forced to turn off Instagram notifications due to incessant insults from Juventus fans, according to reports in Italy.

The Argentina forward is leaving the Bianconeri at the end of the month when his contract officially expires.

He is on the brink of completing a free transfer to Juve’s arch-rivals Inter and La Gazzetta dello Sport report unhappy supporters of the Old Lady have been barraging Dybala with insults on Instagram.

The report adds that the abuse has got so bad the 28-year-old has been forced to disable notifications in a bid to drown out the noise.

Others to move between Juventus and Inter directly as fans label Dybala a ‘traitor’

Dybala joined Juve from Palermo in 2015 and was tipped for greatness after a blistering start to life in Turin, packed with stunning goals and sensational performances.

In the 2016-17 season, he scored twice in a stunning 3-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals en route to the final.

However, he was more consistently injured and it hampered his progress.

While several players have played for both club, it may be the fact Dybala is making the move directly between the two which has angered so many Juve supporters.

  1. How can you call yourself a fan & then disrespect one of our former players. I hate Inter as much as the next Juventini, but the fact is Juve let Dybala go. He didn’t ask to leave or want to leave. In fact I think if we offered him the same money he would renew with us. Unfortunately that is not going to happen. Do I wish he was going to another team sure I do, but I don’t wish Dybala any misfortune. I hope he does well on a personal level while still having Juve come out on top. That is what a REAL fan would do.

  2. Juve are famous for poaching players. Even dealing behind the scenes and not with the other teams. Look what they did to Napoli, and Fiorentina. Do they consider Dusan a traitor to Fiorentina?Grow up and get over it. Your team turned traitor on Dybala. Offered a contract then pulled it. But who expects any different from that team, or their fans.

  3. Year after year, he always refused offers when Juve tried to sell him. And when the news came out this year that juve will withhdraw their higher offer, he started to act like a child. So management decided to get rid of him. But to go to Inter with almost same offer? That is hard to digest.

He is our best player, he is a great talent, we will miss him a lot, but enough with injuries and enough with his stories outside the pitch

  4. Awful to see after everything he has done for us. Cheeky banter yes, insults no. I’m not his biggest fan but players and Coaches reserve their right to play for whoever they want. If Nedved had gone to Jnter I wouldn’t be talking about him like a personal hero but I’d respect his decision and it would not negate his achievements for us.

  5. Been a Juve fan for 20+ years, but can’t imagine insulting La Joya. A top-10 all time scorer who wanted to continue with us. Agnelli didn’t offer any deal to him (not even a revised lower offer). He wants to stay in Italy and this is the only offer he had. What should he do? – Retire?. Who are these Insta morons?

  6. @forza moggi acted like child? what kind?
he acted professional the last 6 months on juventus even though he knew he wont renew. and he never make controversies with media, coach, or anything not only the last 6 months but almost his entire career on juventus he almost never make wrong headlines. maybe its you juventus fans who should stop act like a kid. its your own club decided againts renewing him, so its not his fault to choose whatever club he want to join.

  7. @Abbarich: yeah, poor Fiorentina fans – if only they could wipe their tears with the bag of 70m euro they cashed in…

back to topic…with this move Dybala showed his true colors, he’s nothing more than a spineless mercenary – he was asking for huge salary, Juve offered more than reasonable amount to him but he didn’t want to accept
after more of his injuries Juve withdraw their offer so what does he do?

he will sign with their biggest rival for LESS than what he was offered by Juve originally…

he can take those fake tears elsewhere, I certainly won’t miss him after this

  8. I just hope that he can score a hat trick upon his return to Turin in front of Agnelli, the Laramie girl, Paratici 2.0 and PhD “Feng Shui” Max.

  9. Those who don’t follow Juve need their head banging. Anyway, Dybala and his Agent was adamant on a pay rise when at the beginning he could of accepted a lower fee. Yes Juve made a mistake and they are partly to blame for not handling the negotiation professionally . Forza Juve

  10. What did he think will happen? When Conte joined Inter, a legendary player and coach, received the same treatment and there was talk of removing his star. I don’t support any form of bullying but did he think Juve fans would applaud him going to Inter, change their shirts too.

  11. Haha, Dybala being a quality player aside, the anger of juventini makes this transfer a lot more enjoyable
