There is no doubt that Paulo Dybala will become a new Inter player and according to multiple reports in Italy, the two parties will reach a final agreement by the end of the week.

The Argentinean is available as a free agent after Juventus refused to extend his contract in March. He has been in talks with Inter for a long time and his agent Jorge Antun is now ready to finalise an agreement with the Nerazzurri.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport report that Antun will continue negotiations with Beppe Marotta today. Dybala has chosen Inter and will sign a four-year deal worth €6m plus €1m add-ons. The two parties have yet to agree on some financial details but are expected to shake hands by the weekend.

The Nerazzurri will announce Dybala’s signing on his return from the USA, where he is on holiday with his partner Oriana Sabatini and where he met Paul Pogba last weekend. They are close friends, but they won’t play again together as the Frenchman is destined to return to the Allianz Stadium on a free transfer from Manchester United.

8 thought on “Dybala to Inter: what’s missing to close the deal”
  1. I don’t understand. Previous reports said Juventus also offered him 7m per year?

Now either those reports were inaccurate or he’s getting more from Inter? Otherwise why Change clubs for the same (or less) money and become a traitor to his former fanbase?

  2. @Milan Fan
Very simple. He had a better offer from Juventus than what Inter are offering him, but he got angry with Juventus as they suddenly backtracked from what they had agreed on, after signing Vlahovic. That’s why the relationship broke down.

  3. Smoke and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors. No one really knows what went on behind the scenes. Was Dybala shunned by Juve or did he ( or likely quiver of agents) somehow create this situation? Maybe he is getting a lower salary and a hefty signing on fee. Good luck to him. Spent too much time on the injury table and bench at Juve.

  4. Juventus offered 10m at start, then drew their proposal altogether. They didn’t offer 7m instead, they just announced that he is no longer a part of the project.

  5. He his too injury prone. And when he returns from injury it takes time for him to get to his best form. I think his prime time is getting dimmer, 5m-6m salary is OK for him

  6. Juve aren’t totally crazy. If they withdrew an offer, it’s likely that there were motives behind it which we’ll never know about. Negotiations take 2 or more parties and those crocodile tears in his last home game reveal a lot. He heard the fans boo the management and shower him in love and affection. Now, those same fans will know him to be a duplicitous wretch and will give more credit to the management. Dybala’s quality is beyond reproach but his inconsistently on the big stage is glaringly obvious, too.

  7. I dont think the signing on fee is less than 20m or even 25m. There is no “free players” anymore
