Dybala out of Roma-Atalanta in warm-up

Bad news for Roma, as Paulo Dybala pulled out in the warm-up of their match against Atalanta, so Nemanja Matic steps in and Lorenzo Pellegrini is pushed up.

It kicks off at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

Dybala was named in the starting XI, but has been ruled out during the warm-up at the Stadio Olimpico due to a left flexor issue.

Instead, coach Jose Mourinho has picked Matic to start, therefore moving Lorenzo Pellegrini into a more advanced role with Nicolò Zaniolo and Tammy Abraham.

Rick Karsdorp joins Marash Kumbulla, Stephan El Shaarawy, Georginio Wijnaldum and Ebrima Darboe on the treatment table, so it is yet another problem for the Roma fitness staff to deal with.

La Joya had been in fine form, contributing three goals and two assists in six Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi, along with a goal in two Europa League games.

Roma: Rui Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Celik, Cristante, Matic, Spinazzola; Zaniolo, Pellegrini; Abraham

Atalanta: Musso; Scalvini, Demiral, Toloi; Hateboer, De Roon, Koopmeiners, Maele; Ederson, Pasalic; Hojlund
