Paulo Dybala is only 39 days away from playing his last match for Juventus and he’s hoping to overtake Roberto Baggio in the club’s all-time top scorer list.

The 28-year-old Argentinian forward will be ending his seven-year association with the Old Lady at the end of June when his contract expires with the club. The Bianconeri announced last month that his deal will not be renewed, forcing him to find a new home for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport, Dybala is hoping to pick up his 13th major title with Juventus this season before his departure, ending his time in Turin on a high. The former Palermo man has won five Scudetti, three Supercoppa Italiana and four Coppa Italia for the Bianconeri over the last seven years.

Dybala is also aiming to overtake Baggio’s all-time goal record with Juventus. The Argentine has netted 113 goals in 285 appearances for the Old Lady, putting him 10th in the all-time table, and he’s only two behind 9th place Baggio, who scored 115 goals in 200 appearances.

  1. Not fit to lace his boots.

@Vgs easy on @Zambrotta. He’s perhaps judging him on a WC final penalty miss as a lot of people like to do.

Their myopia causes them to forget that he single handedly took us to the final.

  2. Dybala for Juventus =
    1 UCL Runner up
    5 Scudetti
4 Coppa Italia (can be 5)
    3 Doubles

    Baggio for Juventus =
    1 UEFA Cup
    1 Scudetto
    1 Coppa Italia
    1 Double

= No doubt as to, who is the bigger Juve legend.

  3. lol these are young millennial Juve fans who do not know the great Baggio and the fact that he single handily took a poor Italy to the final in 94 and nearly won it, but yet they think PhD Max is prime Sacchi.

  4. Zamrotta, either you are naive or not smart.. Baggio us the best player so far produced in Italy. A hero and a legend…who brought Single handle Italy to Final in 1994. The greatest attacking midfielder and one of the best in the world.

  5. Baggio average? What a dunce. Go back to playing COD or listening to Travis Scott. Football is obviously not for you.

  6. Baggio is definetly a legend and one of the reasons I supported Juve as a kid.

But I think it’s debatable whether or not he was a Juve legend.

He never really wanted to be at Juventus.

  7. Wow, @Zambrotta, congratulations for perhaps the dumbest comment ever on a Football Italia forum. That takes some doing but you did it spectacularly.

  8. @JuveFella You could say the same then for Sturaro and Padoin. When Baggio was playing, teams were immense. The UEFA Cup was like the CL now since only the top placed team played in the European Cup. The would dribble easily through defences that contained legends not Bastoni. Sacchi’s Italy was carried by him to a final in which he played 180 with a hamstring injury. Total legend. His performances in 1990 deserved the WC.

  9. @NOrata
No, you could not say the same for e.g. Stuaro because
Dybala & Baggio are the go to guys in their time at Juventus.
Stuaro was at best a squad player but in reality more of a last choice sub.

That’s like saying Sirigu was as important as Donnarumma in winning the Euros
You know it’s a false narrative.
