Paulo Dybala is ready to return to training with Roma and has reportedly cut his holidays after Argentina’s World Cup triumph.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, La Joya will return to the Capital tomorrow, landing at 6.45 am (local time) at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.

He will head straight to Trigoria, joining his teammates for a training session on the eve of the last friendly match before Serie A resumes on January 4.

It is unlikely to see Dybala feature in the match against Viterbese on December 30, but Mourinho hopes the Argentinean striker will be fit to play against Bologna in the first competitive game of 2023.

The Special One had asked Dybala to cut his holidays by a few days in order to be back in time for the first match of the year.

Dybala has met his coach’s demands and will be back in Rome on Thursday with extra motivation coming from the World Cup he won with Argentina.
