Paulo Dybala admits Juventus can be ‘happy with the point’ against Inter, but warns they ‘need to improve in attack.’

The Bianconeri snatched a last-gasp equaliser with Dybala’s penalty, after VAR alerted the referee to a high Denzel Dumfries foot on Alex Sandro that was just inside the box.

Edin Dzeko had opened the scoring early on, reacting quickly on the rebound when Hakan Calhanoglu’s strike bounced off the woodwork.

“We are Juventus, we always play to win, but we were up against a very strong side and considering the way the game was going, we can be happy with the point,” Dybala told DAZN.

“We definitely need to improve in attack, because if we only try to win by one goal, then we will struggle if they score against us. However, if we need to win 1-0, we can do that too.”

This was La Joya’s comeback almost a month after a muscular problem, the latest in a series of setbacks.

“I wanted to do my best for my teammates, the fans and everyone. I had a lot of injuries that are really annoying and I have not enjoyed being on the sidelines.”

Dybala was asked how he sees himself as a leader of this team, especially with the contract extension seemingly imminent.

“I think after many years here, and spending so much time learning from the greats, you inevitably mature and end up helping the younger players. I feel my moment has come and I try to help the team.”
