Roma star Paulo Dybala is in doubt for this weekend’s Serie A match with Milan after he went off at half-time in the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Lazio.

La Joya was in the starting XI at the Stadio Olimpico, but was spotted calling the chief medical officer over when walking off the field at the break.

He seemed to feel a twinge and with his long history of muscular injuries it was decided not to take any further risks.

The Argentina international was replaced by Lorenzo Pellegrini for the second half.

It remains to be seen how much damage was done and if Dybala will therefore also have to sit out Sunday’s Serie A showdown with Milan at San Siro.

This would certainly be a huge blow for Jose Mourinho’s team, as Dybala has contributed six goals and six assists in 18 appearances this season between Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia.
