Paulo Dybala is being interviewed as part of an investigation into possible Juventus fraud over ‘donated’ wages during the pandemic that were paid anyway with secret agreements, including Cristiano Ronaldo.

The investigation began several months ago into inflated transfer fees and has now spread to other areas of their financial dealings.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, players and agents could be interviewed as witnesses by investigators into the Bianconeri books from 2019 to 2021.

Sky Sport Italia report Dybala is the first to be interviewed this afternoon and was spotted at the Procura in Turin.

Investigators believe Juventus destroyed documents, including agreement with Ronaldo

Specifically, Juve announced in 2020 that the players had agreed to give up three months’ worth of wages to help the club through the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, investigators argue that many of the players received the full salary anyway, it just wasn’t put on the Juventus accounts, therefore avoiding taxes and helping to balance the books.

If confirmed, that would not only suggest Juve were trying to pay their players with ‘moonlighting’ wages, but also that these big stars who declared they were giving up money to help the club during a difficult time did no such thing.

There has long been talk of a private agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo and it is now reported that wasn’t the only one, with circa €60m of the €90m supposedly ‘saved’ in fact paid anyway.

This is much more serious than inflating players cost, because at the end of the day player valuations are up to clubs. But the above basically says that juve lied in their financial statements, didn’t report payments to players. Pure financial fraud. Some random clown says Milan and Inter did the same, where did you read that? This case is totally different.

  3. @Bunga2: Witness protection programme? 😀

We are talking about crimes now, not just inflated transfer prices between clubs. Serious stuff.

  4. The sad thing is, even with all this cheating, they still suck and won’t win the champions league! Maybe if they focused on just playing instead of how to cheat the system further, they might actually win…

  5. This is none sense, yeh let’s interview Dybala he might be mad at Juve let’s see if we can get anything…smh a bunch of clowns. Look at these clown Milanese fans celebrating Y’all pathetic.

  6. I’m sure, before the interview, Juve gave Dybala “an offer he couldn’t refuse…”
(Tomorrow, we’ll either see Paolo sporting a new car, or he’ll be all pale & petrified. 😄

PS: All of this is happening because of Super League. Ceferin wants revenge.
