Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is recovering from a muscle injury and could be back in time to face Roma, with Alvaro Morata expected back at the end of October.
Sky Sport Italia reports the Argentine is recovering from the muscle injury and could be back already against the Giallorossi after the international break.
Morata participated in training on Saturday too and is expected to return at the end of the month but hopes to make the big game against Inter at San Siro on October 24.
Juventus face an important month after the break, with Roma at the Allianz Stadium on October 17 and the away game in the Champions League against Zenit St Petersburg three days later.
Morata then hopes to be back in contention for the match against the Nerazzurri four days after, while Dybala will most certainly be back for the European tie in Russia, despite hoping to be in the squad against Jose Mourinho’s men.
Spain international Morata was back in training with the ball today and is following the recovery path from the muscle injury he suffered in September.
Juventus won 2-1 in a friendly against Alessandria, when Arthur Melo was back on the pitch and played for 63 minutes.
It was his first minutes since the surgery to fix the bone calcification between the tibia and fibula. The Brazilian is not yet in perfect conditions but celebrated the return to the pitch on social media.
“Back to work,” he wrote and posted a photo from the match against Alessandria.
