The 21-year-old’s exploits have led to club President Maurizio Zamparini valuing him at ever-increasing prices, declaring his price to be €30m, €40m and €50m.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Dybala is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Sicilian side, carrying a photo of the player’s agent after a meeting with the Palermo patron.

The site states that further talks are scheduled for next week, with Palermo confident that a new deal will be agreed.
