Paulo Dybala resumed the full training session with Juventus today, but Kaio Jorge and Luca Pellegrini were ruled out by ‘flu symptoms’ amid a COVID-19 outbreak.

The squad is preparing for the first match of 2022, as they will host Napoli at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin on January 6.

Dybala could well be in the starting XI, as he has recovered from yet another muscular injury and today managed to go through the entire training session with his teammates.

Striker Kaio Jorge and full-back Pellegrini were absent, as they were suffering from ‘flu symptoms.’

It remains to be seen if these are simply seasonal or a potential spreading of the COVID outbreak within the Bianconeri squad.

Giorgio Chiellini, Arthur Melo and Carlo Pinsoglio all tested positive for COVID-19 over the last few days.

There have also been several players testing positive in the Juventus Under-23 squad, which shares the Continassa training ground with the senior team.

  1. Awesome. Hope he can score in the first 10 Minutes before he’s carted off injured again.

Sell. Give him an excellent sending off and a million Thank You’s for his service. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him.

But time to move on. Announce Vlahovic AND Scamacca already.

  2. So called fans above can’t appreciate a good footballer, never mind respect someone who has won so much with the club.
