Roma announced the squad travelling for tomorrow’s Serie A showdown with Milan, missing Paulo Dybala and Renato Sanches.
It kicks off at San Siro on Sunday at 19.45 GMT.
This is a head-to-head for the top four and the Giallorossi need a result to keep up the hunt, especially after their midweek Coppa Italia exit to rivals Lazio.
Dybala picked up an injury during that match and limped off at half-time, so while there does not seem to be significant damage, he is out of this trip to Milan.
So is Renato Sanches, with long-term absentees Chris Smalling, Tammy Abraham and Marash Kumbulla.
Evan Ndicka and Houssem Aouar are away at the Africa Cup of Nations, while Sardar Azmoun is also ruled out by international duty for Iran.
Jose Mourinho, who is sitting out a touchline ban, has therefore brought along 18-year-old youth team player Joao Costa.
Roma squad for Milan: Rui Patricio, Boer, Svilar; Karsdorp, Huijsen, Llorente, Celik, Mancini, Spinazzola, Kristensen, Zalewski; Cristante, Pellegrini, Paredes, Bove, Pisilli; Belotti, Joao Costa, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.
