Paulo Dybala is recovering from his muscular injury and Juventus hope he can play against Roma on October 17.

The Argentina international pulled up in tears with yet another thigh strain during the 3-2 Serie A victory over Sampdoria on September 26.

It ruled him out of the Champions League showdown with Chelsea and the Derby della Mole against Torino, both of which Juve went on to win 1-0.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the recovery process is going better than expected and he resumed running today in training at the Continassa centre in Turin.

The target now is to have Dybala back in business for the clash against Roma on October 17.

It has been a bright start to the season for La Joya, who contributed three goals and two assists in six competitive matches between Serie A and the Champions League.

He is also reportedly very close to agreeing a new contract with Juventus worth €10m per season.
